![]() Facebook- We’re all on it, sometimes too much, yet how connected are we really? Well I took a chance and posted about our search for a gestational carrier to see if possibly someone we knew would be willing and able to help us out instead of going through an agency and complete stranger. And I was blown away by the amount of genuine support and love from all of our friends, family, friends of friends and complete strangers. I wrote the post many weeks ago as a draft, tweaked the wording hundreds of times, trying to decide if I should really post it. What if someone left a rude or ignorant comment or I somehow offend someone. I had practically decided not to post it. Until Monday morning, I finally said screw it, what’s the worst that could happen! I didn’t really put much thought into, what’s the BEST that could happen. And that’s exactly what happened. I received an outpouring of love, support, and actually 2 tentative offers so far! It’s amazing how Social Media has changed the lives of everyone and connected us on levels I never imagined. It restored my faith that 2014 WILL BE OUR YEAR!
