![]() My Mom and Stepdad come to town last week from Florida, so I invited them and Heather, Stephanie and Liam over for dinner. It was a fantastic time. Telling of lots of childhood stories and laughs all around. My mom showered Heather and her family with love and continued to express how thankful she was Heather was doing this for us. ![]() We had our first "scare" at 25 weeks+2 days. Heather had neck pain and was seeing spots. She went to the chiropractor to see if an adjustment would help but she refused to adjust her due to her symptoms and instead told her to call her primary doctor...who in turn told her to go to the ER just to be safe. They sent her directly to the LD unit where they monitored the baby and checked Heather's vitals. Everything came back perfect, so the diagnoses was an Ocular Migraine and she was released a few hours later with instructions to rest. ![]() Lee and I took a 6 hour Baby Care class at our local hospital on Saturday. This was our "practice" baby for the session....what lovely hair huh?? There were 6 couples, and surprisingly one other was also doing surrogacy! It was a gay couple, and their surrogate was in Mexico! Wow! The class was very informative and the instructor was a lovely wise older lady. Some of the information was common sense, but the car seat information, and Dr. Karp's 5 S's for calming a baby seemed worth the fee alone! Newest Post - Newer - Older - Oldest Post
